Hi! Thank you for stopping by. There’s so much about me that I would love to share with you.
I live in the sunshine state of Florida, with my husband Juan Carlos, my son Andres, and my sweet cocker spaniel, Leo. I love the beach - I find it so peaceful. I also enjoy reading, watching movies, and traveling the world!
I am fluent in Spanish. I was born in El Salvador - the smallest country in Central America. In my early teenage years, I moved with my family to Silver Spring, MD, where I later received my bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland, and master‘s degree from The George Washington University, in Washington, D.C.
I always had a passion for writing and my dream was to publish a book. Little did I know that my very first book would be about my son. Yes! I was inspired to write Andres and His Rubik’s Cube Madness after learning about the fun world of speed-cubing through my son’s experiences and dedication. It was so great that knew I had to share his amazing story with you all.
My goal is to write more books and inspire children and adults to explore the beauty of diversity in writing.
I hope I get to meet you someday!
